Have a late-admit student and need to assign them a meal plan or flex points plan? This guide will show you how to directly assign a plan outside of your normal housing cycle procedures.
Note: The images in this guide refer to meal plans, but the steps are the same for flex points plans.
Locate and select the student from the Profile section of the admin portal.

Click Meal Plans from the navigation bar or scroll down to view the student's meal plan history.

Click Assign Meal Plan to open meal plan assignment options.

Select the correct meal plan option and appropriate housing cycle. Click Next to proceed to configure the transaction.

Note: You will receive a warning if a student has an active meal plan. See here for more information on cancelling an active meal plan.
The charge code and cost will auto-populate. If you want to start billing from a specific period, select Pro-rate Charges. Click Confirm to finalize the assignment.

The meal plan will now appear with an Active status on the resident profile.

Transactions associated with the meal plan will automatically post to the resident's profile to commence billing.
